VIA, Shop Floor Data Collection™

VIA, Shop Floor Data Collection™ eliminates the gap in time between identifying the scrap or rework when it happens on the shop floor and compiling the information in a meaningful way. VIA, Shop Floor Data Collection™ utilizes touch screen technology on the shop floor to enter scrap, rework, downtime and good production as it happens. Key information, such as a pareto analysis of the current shift's scrap and rework reasons, production counts and productivity, is displayed on the shop floor screen in real time. All data collected is stored in a shared database so that up to date information is always available for reporting by production supervisors, plant managers and engineering.
