IET Industrial Engineering Technologies not only had
a great 1991 (revenues up 60 percent) but also "the outlook
for 1992 is very promising," says Timothy C. Stansfield, president.
The engineering firm has grown in three years from a one-man
shop to a staff of five engineers and an office manager. Mr.
Stansfield attributes recent growth to a niche - expertise
in improving manufacturing productivity, just-in-time manufacturing
techniques, and computer-aided design capability. "The sagging
economy has driven manufacturers to analyze current manufacturing
costs in an effort to eliminate waste," adds Mr. Stansfield.
